1 General
1.0.1 This code has been worked out for the purpose of implementing the technical and economical policies of the country in design and construction of foundation treatment engineering so that the design and construction can be technically progressive,economically reasonable,protection of environment,reliable and safe and ensure the quality of the works.
1.0.2 This code applies to the design,construction and quality inspection of foundation treatment works for architectural industry.
1.0.3 In addition to satisfying the requirements in the design of buildings and structures,the treatment of foundations shall be carried out in the light of the principles such as proper fitting local conditions,use of local material resources,protection of environment,saving in resources,etc.
1.0.4 Apart from the implementation of this code,the treatment of building foundation shall also be in conformity with relevant stipulations of national standards being now in use in the country.The design of foundation soil and foundations on treated foundation soil shall be done in conformity with related provisions in the National Standard “Code for Design of Building Foundations”GB50007.
